Happy Shavuot everyone!
And perhaps, also a good night of Torah study tonight

As you know, Shavuot is the Jewish holiday which celebrates the giving (and re-giving) of the Torah and is the culmination of Passover. Many Orthodox Jews stay up all night studying the Torah. It is a major Holy Day in the Jewish calendar, yet too many Jews are oblivious to it.Happy Shavuot everyone!

We had such a good and joyfull time hearing some great stories. Then, no later than at 3 a.m. in the morning, the Rabbi started with his topic which was… Kabbalah. Unfortunately, I was already brain dead by then lol.As you know, Shavuot is the Jewish holiday which celebrates the giving (and re-giving) of the Torah and is the culmination of Passover. New York City is such a hodgepodge of people of different faiths, different levels of faith, and no faith, that it’s hard to generalize. Kabbalah at any time, let alone 3 AM, can be a challenge. We had such a good and joyfull time hearing some great stories.
