Happy birthday, Beryllos! Are birthday parties allowed in your area? They ought to be – they are certainly an essential activity.
 
We are having a little birthday party with just immediate family, who all live in the same house.

However, for the occasion my wife did go out to a Chinese restaurant to get our dinner (take-out, to eat at home). Living dangerously! 😀

does anyone use an app for this?

not an app for the words, but a simple one where you enter the letters and can rearrange them. i often find myself in a position where all i have is my phone.

i occasionally use a note app but was wondering if there was something more specific, i would rather drag a letter…

I use pen and paper. I list the consonants on one side and the vowels on the other, like this, for instance, for the word “encounter”:

O … … … NN
EE … … C
U … … TR

I was thinking of something when I am out and about with no pen or paper on hand, even though these days it is happening less.

I use notes but I thought if there was an app it would be easier.

I use pen and paper too, but it’s less organised than your method. I also shuffle letters of the word around in the little address/search box in my browser (without searching, obv)

I can’t function without pen and paper… so just using my phone, I’d struggle.
