I’m drawn to Eastern a Catholicism, I was born Muslim, later became a believer in the Eastern Orthodox Church. I used to have many misconceptions of Catholicism, it was the third disliked belief to me after Islam and Protestantism. Lately I’ve realized I’ve had it all wrong on the Catholic Church, I took some time to view all the doctrines I had trouble accepting. I listed all the reasons I didn’t want to become catholic and Catholic Answers had many answers to those reasons. I’m drawn to Eastern Catholicism, I feel that in Eastern Orthodoxy we’re missing our fifth Pentarchy and Patriarch and something is incomplete.

Come on in mate! Welcome! In the name of Jesus, welcome!

PS. Although we catholics are human too and we do mess up quite a few times, but Jesus rocks! 😊

I often find I’m guilty of straining a gnat but missing the camel. As we know Jesus is the cornerstone of the Catholic Church and reading the New Testament I don’t see too much complexity in fact the opposite.

Refreshing to hear this especially in a time of termoil in the church.

Peace be with you!!!

Come into full communion with the Catholic Church! Jesus will be here waiting for you! This is wonderful!

Someone on here yesterday said that eastern Catholicism is kind of like the best of both worlds, because you basically keep your spiritual and liturgical patrimony from the EO church and are in full communion with Rome! Not that it’s actually a compromise or anything.

If you are a convert from the Eastern Orthodox Church you automatically become Eastern Catholic not Roman Catholic.
