The steps being taken at many parishes to restore high altars, communion rails, and of course, the Tridentine Mass.

It is not a failed attempt at restoring “Pro Multis” because the words “for many” appear in the new English translation of the Roman Missal. The Mexican Episcopal Conference is already using “for many” in their translation of the Roman Missal.
The promulgation of Liturgiam Authenticam, Redemptionis Sacramentum and the Motu Propio are excellent moves. Incidentally, the former Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger had a hand in each document. Even as Cardinal Ratzinger he was pushing for the liberalization of the use of the EF.

I think that the three year cycle of scripture readings for Sunday and two year cycle for weekdays is an excellent change.
The ordinary form of the Mass if said according to the rubrics is a good change.
The permission for greater use of the extraordinary form of the Mass is a good change as long we don’t come to think that miniscule details e.g. how long should the cappa magna be are more important that the Sacrifice of the Mass itself.
