Changes in the English Wording of the Mass

Since we (English speaking people) will be making changes to the wording of the Creed during The Mass, will this affect other areas, like the Rosary and Divine Mercy, since they both have the Creed in them? Thank you
 
The Creed we usually use at Mass is the Nicene Creed, and there are a number of changes to that. However, it is the Apostles’ Creed that is used for the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. The changes to the Apostles’ Creed for Mass appear to me to be back to the way we usually say them for the Rosary, etc. Even it if were to be a substantial change, I don’t think it would change the way we say the Rosary and Divine Mercy, as these are private devotions and can be prayed any way we like.

So the “we” is changed to “I”, and the Son is now consubtantial with the Father. 👍

Now, as an Eastern Catholic, I still do not recite the “filoque”😃

As above, those are the Apostles Creed. There are some minor changes to the AC. Some of them are minor (grammatical), with the biggest being that “He descended to the dead” is now “He descended into hell”. It will also now continue “on the third day He rose again
from the dead”.

Part of the reason fro the skisim.
On a theological point, since the father and son are one how could the spirit on come from one and not both?

Eventually all these will change to reflect the changes in the mass.

Ahhhhh…and how many thousands of books have been written on this topic? I see no reason to write one more. 🤷

But OK, here is a shot. The Son was begotten, not made. The Son is the Word. So another way to put it would be that the Son proceeds from the Father. He represents God’s power. Through Him all things were made.🙂

The Holy Spirit also proceeds from the Father, as God’s Love. Power and Love work together.👍

And let us not speculate where Wisdom, female in the old testament, fits in:D

My question was rhetorical. Roman Catholic belief , as recited in the creed the spirit comes from the father and the son. As Christ said, the father and he are one.

Wisdom is seen as the feminine side of the word, the son, with the father and the spirit from the time of creation. God created us in his image, man and woman.

the change is to the Nicene Creed which is recited during Mass, the other private devotions use the Apostles creed which is not changing.
