Changing to Eastern Catholic from Roman

Hi all,

I have been attending, and find that the Eastern Liturgy more closely matches my spirituality. Is there any formality that I have to follow to make a change official as I would like my children to receive the sacraments and be raised in the Ruthinian church that is in Union with Rome.

For a formal canonical change you’d have to write to the Roman and Ruthenian bishops under who’s jurisdiction you fall under. There’s more detail in other similar threads you can go seek them out. Have your sacramental records at hand and ready.
