I was wondering if anyone knew of a resource for chanting the Gospel Readings used in the Office of Readings( Latin or approved English)?

I am confused. There is typically no Gospel reading in the Office of Readings.

There are Psalms, an Epistle or OT reading, and a Patristic second reading, but no Gospel.

Actually there is, if you pray the optional Vigil canticles, found in the appendix of the LOTH. The formula is to pray the three canticles, then the Gospel reading called for, the Te Deum, and collect.

This is what formerly would be prayed at the “third nocturne” pre-Vatican II (or post-Vatican II for the Monastic LOTH which still has 2 nocturnes for ordinary weekdays and memorials, and 3 for feasts, solemnities and Sundays).

That said, I chant the brief readings (in French) using the same tones used at the abbey I’m associated with. As is also their practice, the longer readings of the Office of Readings, I chant recto-tono. I rarely do the optional Vigil however, so don’t often read the Gospel at the Office of Readings.
