The thread got “silly” when you stated that women MUST cover their head.I truly believe the debate is getting silly. Women covered their heads when they entered the House of God - not everytime they prayed in private in their own home; or riding a bicycle.
Covering your head when entering a church was a sign of respect for the Blessed Sacrament.:byzsoc:
It got worse when TradionalWay tried to say that if a woman is praying, her head should be covered.
Some of us just want to know if that is the case, how does it work.
What started as a thread on wearing a veil has turned, once again, into a “who is more traditional” thread. It happens pretty much every time.
And I still don’t get how putting a Kleenex on your head is a sign of respect for anything.
