Here is my home away from home, our Newman Center and Washington and Jefferson College.
To be honest I wouldn’t know haha. But have they? What were they like before?Boy, Newman Centers have come a long way, haven’t they?
I know! It rocks having it always there. I think it gives such a witness to the “outsiders” that visit our parish, especially family.Awesome! That is beautiful! I love the Benedictine Altar arrangement .
Because the N.O. is like a box of chocolates!I am puzzled as to why Priests that set up the altars in the fashion shown do not simply celebrate Mass ad orientam?
Pax!
Hopefully you know that the EF can be, and often is, celebrated facing the congregation across the altar.Because the N.O. is like a box of chocolates!
Could you cite a rubric that was promulgated prior to 1962?Hopefully you know that the EF can be, and often is, celebrated facing the congregation across the altar.
As soon as anyone cites a rubric that says the priest should be facing away from the congregation. But, in fact, I’ll do you one better (you have to know which way St. Peter’s is laid out, though; hint, the statue of St. Andrew you see is in the southeast pier of the crossing):Could you cite a rubric that was promulgated prior to 1962?
