Has anyone prayed the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy and the Novena to the Divine Mercy?

I believe these are very powerful. I prayed these regularly while I was pregnant last year and I still do so.

I pray it regularly before Mass and weekly @ adoration. I focus on the following:
  1. 1st Decade - Wound in Jesus’ right hand
  2. 2nd- Wound in Jesus’ left hand
  3. 3rd - Wound in Jesus’ right foot
  4. 4th-Wound in Jesus’ left foot
  5. 5th-Wound in Jesus’ side

I pray the Chaplet frequently, several times a week (my goal is to do it daily, but sometimes I miss a day).

On each of the “for the sake of His sorrowful passion” beads, I dedicate each to a person or group of people … as in “for the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us [here thinking of the person/group] and on the whole world”. If someone is in special need, I say a whole decade for them. I think this is similar to how some people pray the rosary.

It is especially recommended to be prayed at the 3:00 hour, the Hour of Great Mercy, although due to my schedule, I usually pray it before going to bed.

Here is the website for the Divine Mercy, set up the Marians of the Immaculate Conception:

There will be a cenacle series on the Divine Mercy on EWTN during March, info here:

I absolutely LOVE saying the Chaplet Of Divine Mercy. There are several UTube presentations for helping concentrate if you have A.D.D. (like myself) and I find this Chaplet just as fulfilling as the Rosary, and very healing. I have lost several loved ones this past year, and my concern of their being in Purgatory has driven me to being as punctual as possible for the 3:00 pm (even thinking of Him for a few moments) at 3:00 pm in His hour of abandonment, is like calling Him on His cell phone. I just feel a connection.

I have obtained a copy of Sr. Faustina’s Diary and hope to start reading it also for a few minutes each day.

God bless…OH, and there is even a version of monks chanting the Divine Mercy Chaplet…at least one decade of it. It’s a very catchy tune and stays with you and you find yourself saying little prayers all during the day…youtube.com/watch?v=IdelHDLPeks&feature=related.
