Hi everyone, I came across this chaplet and I was wondering if any one else felt like it helped thier spirituality. I was so moved by this little known devotion that I felt compelled to write about it and go to one of those online self publishers. I’d love to see if anyone got as much out of this devotion as I did, Let me know!😃

    Decade 1
    Meditation (Said Aloud): The seed of the Woman shall crush the serpent. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, and she conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Savior of the world has come.
    Big Bead- O loving Jesus, Christ our King, your every praise we now sing. Make our hearts like unto thine, that with Divine love we too may shine.
    10 small beads- Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner.
    Glory Be (After the 10 small beads and before the next meditation)
    Decade 2
    Meditation (Said Aloud): Behold, the Lamb of God and His kingdom is at hand. Lord, help us to dwell in your Kingdom all the days of our lives until we are with you in the Heavenly Jerusalem.
    Big Bead- O loving Jesus, Christ our King, your every praise we now sing. Make our hearts like unto thine, that with Divine love we too may shine.
    10 small beads- Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner.
    Glory Be (After the 10 small beads and before the next meditation)
    Decade 3
    Meditation (Said Aloud): Christ the King, reign from your Eucharistic throne in our hearts that we may do your Will. Transform us through your Blessed Sacrament that we may be one with you.
    Big Bead- O loving Jesus, Christ our King, your every praise we now sing. Make our hearts like unto thine, that with Divine love we too may shine.
    10 small beads- Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner.
    Glory Be (After the 10 small beads and before the next meditation)
    Decade 4
    Meditation (Said Aloud): Enthroned as king upon the Cross, Christ paid our debt when his breath was lost. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
    Big Bead- O loving Jesus, Christ our King, your every praise we now sing. Make our hearts like unto thine, that with Divine love we too may shine.
    10 small beads- Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Decade 5
Meditation (Said Aloud): On the third day Christ rose again and now is seated at the right hand of God. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. He is Lord of all.
Big Bead- O loving Jesus, Christ our King, your every praise we now sing. Make our hearts like unto thine, that with Divine love we too may shine.
10 small beads- Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me, a sinner.
Glory Be (After the 10 small beads and before the next meditation)
Concluding prayers
  1. Three Times: “Down in Adoration falling, to Christ our loving king and sovereign- just one thing of Thee we implore: to know and love and serve Thee more.”
  2. “O Lord, Jesus, by your Cross and Resurrection, both your mercy and your justice shone. Christ our King, you paid the price of death for our sins so that we may receive God’s mercy. Help me to imitate your kingship by acting with mercy and justice in my own life. Christ, our King, you surrendered to your Father’s Will by saying, ‘not my will but yours be done.’ Help me to follow your example by surrendering completely to the Divine Will and trusting in the Providence of our Heavenly Father. As the wise men laid their gifts before Thee, I lay myself before you now, O Christ the King. As the Apostles wandered with you in the world to preach the Gospel, I follow you in this world by following your Gospel. As your Mother stood beneath the Cross and waited for the third day, I wait upon your coming, Christ my King. Christ, reign in our hearts and in our lives, until you come in glory in the fullness of time to be adored through endless ages. Amen.”
  3. Say: “Mary, our Queen and Mother, I now beg your intercession to obtain from your Divine Son all graces and aids necessary in my state in life to bring about the Kingdom of Christ in my own heart, in the hearts of others, and in the world.” -Pray the Hail Holy Queen.
  4. Litany:
    Christ our King, Have mercy on us
    Our Lady, Queen of Victory, Pray for us
    All you holy angels and saints, Come to our aid
  5. Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
    -Sign of the Cross, and recite “In Hoc Signum Vincis” (in this sign you will conquer)

Anything to do with Our Lord edifies my spirituality. I’ve always especially loved His Title “Christ the King”. For that is what He is. Our King! This chaplet is very beautiful, so… I’m sure it will edify! God bless you! 🙂

(p.s. this would be a great Chaplet to pray, at Adoration!)
