Our family would like to do a character study for our children. I was at a Protestant Christian Homeschooling conference and saw some studies there, but wanted to see if anyone knew of one that is Catholic?

Ideally we want a program that we could do with all ages, and that would involve looking at virtues or character traits and where they are in the bible so we can hear stories and some verse memory work.

I know that some bibles have a section in the back with references to different topics, but I am still relatively new to the faith and don’t feel comfortable building my own program.

Thank you very much! 🙂

I’m not exactly sure about what you are looking for, but I can suggest places to look. Ignatius Press, Adoremus Books, and Ascension Press all have great resources for teaching children. Adoremus Books has a lot of homeschooling materials, so they most likely would have something you could use. They’ve always been helpful to me so if you don’t see what you are looking for I bet if you gave them a call or an email they’d be able to direct you to the right place. Good luck!

thats a wonderful idea and i hope someone pops in with a good idea because i would love to do the same thing.

one program we have been a part of with my girls is Little Flowers Girls Club. its like Catholic girl scouts focusing on virtues and saints. ITs wonderful!!!

i cant wait till my little guy is old enough for Blue Knights, the boy version of the program.
