First I must say that even through these hard times know that your unborn child is in the hands of God and he is constantly cradling your little one.!! Many prayers for you and yours!

About the Charismatic Movement. I would have to say that it is something that will change your life. Many people are afraid of it because people raise there hands and openly speak prayers of praise to Jesus. Many people get scared because we speak in tongues when we pray… Many people get scared because people fall to the ground resting in the Holy Spirit.

If you are afraid of people raising there hands and praying please don’t be. When we raise our hands to pray it is a form of surrender. Which means that we are just trying to give our all to Jesus and be completely open to anything that God wants for us. No one will make you raise your hands… but if you feel called to do it, know that its not a horrible thing, it is just your body’s way of surrendering to God, which may be what you need.

If you are afraid of people speaking in tongues…please don’t be. Speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit. When people are speaking in tongues it is the Holy Spirit speaking through that person…(the gift of interpreting tongues is when another person can understand what the Holy Spirit is speaking through them) Speaking in tongues is your souls way of crying out in prayer when your body doesn’t know what to pray for. So please don’t be afraid by it… but it is not some kind of voodoo language or black magic language that people accuse it of being… it is the love and spiritual talk of the Holy Spirit… and please don’t be afraid of the Holy Spirit, he is with you and with all to help us all in our greatest needs, and it seems that at this point and time… you need the Holy Spirit to help you with this greatest need.

If you are afraid of Resting in the Spirit, please don’t be. Resting in the Spirit is when the Holy Spirit descends upon you in such a way that you rest in peace with him… some people can hear him, some people have visions when this happens, and other people just feel like they are in complete peace and their body is just completely at rest. Resting in the Spirit usually happens when people are praying over you but it is ok. Jesus is calling out to you and is saying “My daughter, do not be afraid, for I love you and nothing of harm will ever come to you when you are in my presence and trust in me… I love you and I will give you rest.”

Charismatic healing services have saved people from cancers,broken bones, abortion issues, miscarriage problems,addictions,relationships, and any kind of broken heart.

I have seen people come in with Leukemia and walk out of that room with the cancer completely gone. I have seen people who were paralyzed (old people) from the neck down, stand and jump around praising God for their miracle. I have seen people with all kinds of things be completely healed. I have seen people who were strict I hate Catholic Atheists be tricked into going and walk out with a stronger faith than I. And I have heard stories of women going in with the problem of not being able to conceive and then weeks later calling and saying that she was pregnant. My dear God can do ALL things and the things that he has planned for you are NOT small but they are MIGHTY because our God is a MIGHTY God!!!

AMEN!

I hear you guys had a awesome turn out a few months ago. So wonderful is our God. Our liason here is Ray who works with the music ministry for the conference there, came back with absolutly remarkable reports.

We have not been able to go in past years due to our health, but I look forward to being able to travel there again. To anyone that can, it is well worth taking the time for.

Yes Mam!

The Conference that we usually have every March was in April this year do to the leap year. It was amazing though, many lives were changed. The youth that get together there are amazing and the Lord is moving through their generation in many MIGHTY and POWERFUL ways! As a matter-of-fact the Catholic Music Artist “Dana” came once again this year and she sang the song “We are one Body” for all of the youth… and all of the youth gathered around in one big circle and put a few extra effects into the song and Dana thought that it was the best version of the song she had ever performed that all of the youth got on stage with her the next evening and performed it for all of the adults to see too and I tell you that was a sight I will never forget.

All three of our kids are JPII generation and you can really tell in their faith. The oldest was at Denver, we grabbed him off the bus from a boy scout trip, and placed him on the bus for Denver - he had enough time to get home and shower - so he literally went from one to the other.

I love that song, the youngest two, went to a number of Youth 2000 rallies, which that song was used a lot. I think it still rings in their ears.

They always loved going to NO conference - the oldest one and some of his friends managed to find their way to Burbon Street one day on free time. Let me tell you, they FLEW back to the conference center :rotfl:We had told them they could walk about but not to go there. :whacky: I think they were fourteen at the time. So they learned a good life experience. :rotfl:

Healings happened so often there, throughout the conference. It always seemed to me, that when the Eucharist is brought out for Benediction and processed through everyone there - I remember one year when Fr. Ray Bobber took it about, so many miracles/healings happened.

I just loved when Fr. Emil LaFrance - of blessed memory - would talk. We use to go to Center for the Regional Leadership sessions, my daughter loved being there. But, he was just so awesome. He and Fr. Harold Choen had heavy burdens for Birmingham. I believe what has been happening here in the last few years is partly due to their intercession. I pray we see the fruits of their labors here!

Yes the conferences have always been so amazing!!
My family and I go to the Center of Jesus the Lord about 2 times a week now since we live on the other side of the lake. I am only 15 so I still get to participate in all of the youth rallies and things, but I remember things from when I was a toddler and it has always been amazing!!

Yes, I am. Fr. Choen was here at EWTN for quite a while and offered what little time he had extra to help the CCR here.

Fr. Emil would fly up for us in the morning and come back in the evening when he had a chance to assist and teach a bit. It didn’t happen often, but when it did, well - it was a WOW day 😃
