Charismatic Movement?

[Shana]

Hi,

Does anyone know where I could find good information on the Catholic Charismatic movement (speaking in tongues, baptism in the Holy Spirit…ect)? I have a hard time finding information on the internet about this because I read conflicting things. I want to know where the Church stands more clearly than I do. What does the magisterium say? Thanks.

here is one link
iccrs.org/English.html
to the international CCR oganization and this homepage gives links to papal documents and approval of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and to various other informational services

there are plenty of more sources you may wish to explore on the Spirituality Forum
yes this is an approved spiritual renewal movement of the Catholic Church

I also include the link to Presentation Ministries
presentationministries.com/brochures/MoreLife.asp
because they are among the most orthodox and most experienced organizations out there, presenting Life in the Spirit Seminars and charismatic spirituality, and their links and resources will be valid and useful

not to overwhelm you but this third link
crmweb.org/ftf/FTF7.html
describes a Life in the Spirit Seminar–which is one’s introduction to Catholic Charismatic spiritual life, and what goes on, what is discussed etc

Thank you! This is precisely what I was looking for!
