How can our family find information as to whether a particular charity or foundation supports abortion? Seems like everytime we go to the store or shopping somewhere someone has a charity they ask for a donation for. But how can we find out if they contribute to abortion causes?

I think I approach this from the entirely opposite direction you do. There are a few charities that I know do not promote abortion nor are affiliated with charities that do. So I donate to those, and when I’m solicited at the grocery store or elsewhere, mention that I’ve already made my charitable contributions for the year and decline.

It is best to google the website for the charity in question, then search for “planned parenthood” or “Embryonic stem cell” - you can do the same thing at planned parenthood site, search for the group you are being asked to support.

American Life League has a good resource on their website.

You ask them.

Of course we do this, but most times you’re dealing with some high school/college age clerk who honestly doesn’t know themself.
Stores pretty much ask you to contribute to

American Cancer Society/Relay for Life - not good, they support abortion and other evil acts

Easter Seals - nope, embryonic stem cell supporters

MDA - same as above

St Jude’s Hospital - this one DOES NOT fund embryonic stem cell research. They always get my $1 when asked.
