Charity to assist victims of priestly abuse?

I am sure there is a Catholic charity for almost everything.

In light of the recent scandal regarding the founder of the Legionaries of Christ, along with so many other cases of abuse, I was hoping to find a positive action I can take. I would like to contribute something more than my prayers for victims who have suffered priestly abuse. How can I help these victims? I would love to contribute my time or talent to such a ministry. Is anyone familiar with such an organization?

Most diocese have set up departments to provide counseling and care for these victims. Ours advertises in the diocisan newspaper. You could inquire at the diocisan offices and contribute directly.
