You have made several claims, but have provided no reference or documentation back them up.

For example, your insistence that Germany invented the computer is, as I said before, so demonstrably false that it cannot be reconciled with reality. Jack Kirby, of Texas Instruments, located in Houston Texas, invented the integrated circuit (“computer chip”). see this article. If you disagree with that, I am afraid you will have to take it up with the Nobel Prize committee. Or just try a Google search on “Invention of the Computer Chip”.

So, admit you got this fact wrong and it will help your badly damaged credibility. Credible references in support of your other assertions would be appropriate as well.

But even so, your posts are moving way off topic. Please remain on topic.
I think there is a misunderstanding here. The computer chip that is being used for the implants was created in Germany. I think maybe I should had refraised that differently.

I think you should “rephrase” a couple of dozen blatantly false historical assertions you have made in this thread, so that there are no more “misunderstandings”.

I do not think that at all. But the way you write I would expect considering your Catholic background.

jnt29904,

If you are still posting…You were a member of a Jesus Only Pentacostal group which is in itself a heresy. Jesus Himself commanded us to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You left that heresy to venture out on your own thinking that in some ways they had grown soft or false or something.

I tried a house church after leaving the United Methodist Church but though it was fun, it was rather empty. It did not obey Jesus’ wishes found in His prayer in John 17. I wonder if you are going or soon will be going through the same process. I suspect that if you search with all your heart the truth of the Christian faith that you will find your way to the one and only Church that Jesus established and is watching over and has watched over for 2000 years. I think you will conclude without a doubt that it ts the Catholic Faith. You did not come here by accident. Don’t leave.

Would you like to point out what you consider other wrong statements?
LOL. My life is too short to go through all of them. But to take one just for fun, let’s see your historical evidence for
“Germany had to get get permission from Rom to become a country first consisting of 4 states.”
I’d love to see you try to “rephrase” that to something resembling fact.

Would you like to point out what you consider other wrong statements?
While this has been done a couple of times already, let’s go through this again. But this time, point by point. I will also try to provide as many citations as possible. If you choose to respond, we would all appreciate you doing the same thing.

Unfortunately, I will have to break this up into two posts.
First do you not realize that it was Paul and not Peter who is responsible for writing most of the new test. after Jesus had gone.
I think it is reasonable to assume that even poorly catechized Catholics are aware of this.
  1. It was the Germans who invented the printing press and the Catholics did not want the bible to get into others hands because they new thyt if the average man would read it that they would see the broad interpetation from the Catholic church that does not pass with the bible.
It was a German, Johannes Gutenberg, who while living in Strasbourg France, invented the first printing press. see here.

Next, the assertion that the Catholic Church did not want people to read the Bible is silly. Before the printing press, when all books had to hand copied, Bibles were extraordinarily expensive. Often more value than the church they were in. The Catholic Church also, by the way, invented the university system. The Catholic Church has never forbidden the reading of the Bible by individuals. see here
  1. It was the Holy spirit left behind to guide Gods church not the Pope in a reincarnation form as the Dali Lama.
I am not actually certain what you are trying to say here. However, the Church does not teach that reincarnation occurs. In fact, the Church explicitly states reincarnation is a false teaching. see here
  1. It is also very clear that it is Jesus that is the cornerstone on which the church is built not Peter.
This is a tired argument that has been put to rest numerous times. See here, here, here, here and here. Or just go here and start reading.
  1. Most of these denomintations that you mention are also split often when their churches try to take on a dictatorship role as the Catholic church.
While it is true the many denominations experience further fracturing, I am not certain what point it is you are trying to make. Also, using such terms as “dictatorship role” when describing the Catholic are pejorative and do not actually convey information or meaning. The Church does not “dictate”, it teaches.
  1. One of the biggest reasons for the Catholics policies is that you also wont see what role they will play in end time revelation.
This is also a pejorative statement that does not convey information. The Church’s “policies” are come from the Bible and Sacred Tradition.

Let me give you something to think about. The center of Europe is Germany.

Actually, Germany is not the center of Europe. see here.
It was also a big part in the Roman empire
No it was not. In fact the Roman Empire barely occupied any territory that is now modern Germany. See this map.
which is being restored now through the EU.
Sorry, but you miss that on too. See this map. You will notice, for example, the much of Eastern Europe is included in the EU but nothing in Africa, (especially Egypt) and the Middle East.
Now the major break away from the Catholic Church was mostly successful because of the printing press invented by who. Yes the Germans.
This is an interesting contention. As was stated previous, the printing Press was invented in France by a German. I will concede that the printing press did greatly facilitate the spread of the Reformation. So that is one point that appear to have gotten correct. But then, that was only a fragment of one sentence.

[Continued on the next post.]

[continued from previous post]
Martin Luther was of what origin. German.
He was German. born in Eisleben. He was an Augustinian priest.

The other two contemporaries of Luther’s who were also major forces in the “reformation” were John Calvin and Huldrych (Ulrich) Zwingli, both of them were Swiss. Additionally, the Anabaptist movement, which started just a few years after Luther’s posting of his 99 thesis, in 1525.
In revelation in the letter to the churches he wrote to the church of Pergamum " I know where you dwell where Satans throne is", well that throne was located in todays Turkey. When the turks wanted to destroy it to use the land for something different, it was brought to Berlin Germany where it sets today. This was prior to WWII. After its design the Nürnenberg ring was designed where Hitler mad many of his speaches.
This throne you are referring to you believe to be an actual thing? You do not think that the Lord was speaking figuratively like He did so often in the Gospels and in Revelation itself?

Please cite some credible *secular *sources that describes this throne? Otherwise, based on the other things you have written, I think most people would have difficulty give credence to this assertion.

[concluded in next post]

For us to living in the end times today much had to have happened first wars rumor of wars ect. Yes, this has happen all through history, but one major thing had to happen. WWII. Why? Because the major thing that had to happen for us to be in the last days is that Isreal once again be a nation. Proph. to the exact date. This had only happen due to the percecution of the Jews by the Germans in WWII that brought internation attention.
While I think you make some reasonable conclusions, I think some of your premises are not founded very well.

First, one must be exceedingly cautious and very humble when saying we are in the “end times.” The Lord said that no man will know the day or the hour.

The Bible never gave a date for the re-founding of Israel as a distinct country.
Now I think we can see Germanys place in Gods plan. Then we must also see Europes or should we say the prior Roman empire.
Since I cannot even see my own role in God’s plan, I do not think I, or anyone else, can see the role of an entire nation or continent. Again, I urge great caution and humility here.

Now what is the major religious force of this empire. Oh Yes.The Vatican and the Catholic church.

Let us not for get that as the Church grew in prominence and influence, the Roman empire began to decline and fall. So really, how closely was the Church related to the Roman empire? Well some historians have argued (though I personally disagree with this conclusion) that it was the Church that brought about the fall of Rome because the Church emphasized peace and charity to others and the Roman empire was based on fear, intimidation an oppression.
Do you believe it is an accident the the current Pope is German?
As a faithful (Catholic) Christian, I do not believe in coincidences.

Nor do I believe in innuendo and baseless assertions and charges presented in incendiary terms with no factual basis to support them.
It is from this empire that the beast will arise our bibles tell us. They will make war against the Islamic lands of the east but then will join together to fight against Jesus himself.
There have been many interpretations of certain aspects of Revelation.
Just a couple of more hints…
Enough “hints”. Either say what you want directly, or move on to a different subject. If you say nothing but “hints” then you are not actually saying anything.

Germany is the only country who never voted if they wanted to be in the EU.They were told they were by the Goverment.
Addressed in earlier responses. Here is some more info.
  1. Many claim the number of the beast will probally be in form of a computer chip. In the states many are already having chip implants. Well the Germans invented the chip.
Many people make all sorts of claims. And frankly, it does not really make any difference. This is simply a “so what” statement.

You also claim this chip was invented in Germany. This post was unclear and I first thought you meant computer chips in general.
You clarified this by stating in another post that you were referring to the ID chip and specifically referred to the Carl Zeiss company. Even with this clarification, that is still wrong. The ID chip, or more specifically, the RFID chip was invented in the United States by an employee of IBM. His name is Maruio Cardullo, an American. Here is his story.
Once again is the German Pope just there by chance?
As I said before, I do not believe in coincidences, I believe in God. Nor do I believe in baseless assertions.

In conclusion, be careful to check your facts when you post. Otherwise, you may embarrass yourself even further.

God bless you rpp, you’ve got a lot more patience than I.

Just one slight calrification to your excellent and thorough responses to Albmore:

You are correct that Calvin was not German, but he was French, not Swiss. (born Jean Chauvin (or Cauvin, in Latin Calvinus) in Noyon, Picardie, France, to Gérard Cauvin and Jeanne Lefranc.) He eventually moved to Geneva, but Geneva did not join the Swiss Confederation (a very loose association of independent states) until 1526, and had no common borders with other member states until 1536. “Swiss” was not really a nationality in his time. Citizens of Geneva would have described their nationality as Genevois or Savoyard or perhaps even French.

I was tickled by Albmore’s claim that the EU is some kind of Catholic empire dictated to by the Vatican. Considering the rampant anti-Christian and especially anti-Catholic ethos and practice of the powers-that-be in the EU. eg prohibiting any mention of God in the constitution, overturning the whole panle of European Commissioners because it contained one (superbly well qualified) practising Catholic who believes that sodomy is a sin. It’s hard to know whether Albmore is joking.

Doh! I missed that about Calvin and I knew it, but was in a little too much a hurry. Thank you for the correction.

Also, thank you for pointing out the fact that the EU and the Vatican are at serious odds and the EU leadership has explicitly excluded the Church from any serious consideration and generally ignores the pleas of the Holy See when it comes to certain critical issues like gay marriage, abortion, pornography, education, the rights of parents and the rights of immigrants.

Well Peter it is fact German was a land of bavarians that was needed to be crossed over to get to france and part of the Roman empire. By the way I live in Germany and around my town are still ruins of many roman buildings.

As far as end times yes many including yourself will be to blind to see the signs as Jesus said.

Sorry ive been unable to post any replies, big snow storm in illinois and I plow snow for a municipality.

If you are referring to baptizing in the Lord Jesus Christ as Jesus only then yes. The reasons I left, first because I felt the Holy Spirit was leading me to a new body, 2nd they taught that speaking in tongues is the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit (I believe in speaking in tongues but it is not the evidence it is another spiritual gift), and the women their were starting to dress like they were going to either a fashion show or the beach. I believe in a modest life not a modern life. On baptism, Jesus commands us to be baptized in the NAME (singular) of the Father,Son,and Holy Spirit. The Fathers name is not Father, and the Sons name is not Son, and the Holy Spirits name is not Holy Spirit. You ignore the Book of acts, the teaching of Paul and Peter when you say that baptizing in the Lord Jesus Christ is wrong, that is what they preach. You are right about me looking for something else, it is time for me to find the next spiritual step in my life so I am looking to find another church in the near future.

The great thing about a small group (20-25 in my case) is the wonderful fellowship that you get. It is much like a large family gathering to serve God. When you get a large church you lose alot of the closeness and it is harder to get to know people.

God Bless you,

Jason

Then you really need to pay a lot more attention to the geography of your own country. It never has been necessary for anyone travelling from Rome to France, to go via Germany (even when Germany reached its maximum claimed geographical size under Hitler) and very few people have ever done so, as it would make the trip longer and more difficult. You have merely added yet another absurdly false assertion, which does nothing to address the false assertion I asked you to “rephrase”:
“Germany had to get get permission from Rom to become a country first consisting of 4 states.”
Surely you must be joking, just to try to “jerk our chains”.

Surelz you know very little about Germany and its History.

Okay, if you want to go from Rome to Paris, you do not need to go through Germany. See this link for Google Map directions. In fact, even if you want to go to Strasbourg (an absolutely beautiful city which I hope to visit again), you still do not need to pass through Germany, despite the fact that it is on the German border. Here is that map. The real problem about going to France from Germany is that you must cross the Rhine river or the dense and rugged Ardennes forest. These were real barriers to travel until the last couple of hundred years.

Albmore, you have repeated the statement about Germany needing permission from Rome to divide into four countries. This was the one issue I did not address specifically in my earlier post. I think because it was too vague and there is no time associated with it.

If you are claiming that this happened after the Lutheran revolt against the Church, that is unlikely as the Huguenots embarked on a very destructive series of wars and civil wars for the next two hundred years. And they were decidedly anti-Catholic. See here. While there were Huguenots all over Europe, their origin was Germany.

Now if you are talking about what when on before the Reformation, perhaps you are talking about the King (later Emperer) Frederick (Barbarossa). He distinguished himself b invading Italy and trying to occupy the Papal States and usurp the authority of the Pope in the ordination of bishops and priests. The Popes insisted on spiritual (not political) superiority over the emperor and this caused a problem. However, no one from teh Church ever gave any German leader “permission” for form four German nations. Besides, after Frederick’s empire fell apart, Germany itself fell apart into dozens of little duchies and fiefdoms.

But then, you may have something else in mind. Can you provide a link to this?

I am also somewhat disappointed that you did not respond to any of the issues from the three posts where I addressed one of your your earlier statements.

Maybe before you go further you should look at a map of the Roman empire and its providences since you dont believe Germany was one .
You mean like this one? Or perhaps this one?

No one has disputed that the Roman Empire occupied parts od Germany. But it was never the majority of modern German territory. And that does not include the large numbers of German speaking peoples outside of Germany (mostly to the east).

I presume you are not referring to the Holy Roman Empire. Or this maps which shows the division of the numerous German states in the 14th century.

Soory about the other issues I am not sure what you are referring to. I will get the exact date of where germany had gotten Romes ok for their first states. Please keep in mind Germany as a country began with only four states.
As far as my other statements about germany, these our my own oberservations of history and germanys role in it and how it aligns to the bible. God Bless
