Chat with ahmadi Muslims

I just looked up Ahmadi Islam on wikipedia and I read that many mainstream muslims believe that either of the two group comprising this movement are heretic or even non-muslim. What are ahmadi muslim and traditional muslims thoughts on this.

I am just interested in this question. This is not meant to turn into an “Islam is bad” thread as that is not my way of thinking. I am just a curious person and like to get an “insider” look at other faiths’ inter-religious dialogue.

Plus anything to get away from the typical “terrorist” thread silliness.

For what I experience, they consider themselves as the true Muslim, considering other religion as false or incomplete, and never listen to other’s explanation against their belief. But, in day to day life, I think they are peaceful. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad did a good job to lessen the violence of the Jihadist verses.
