Has anyone seen these apologetic cheat sheets by San Juan Seminars ( Jim Bursham ) ? Are these completely accurate, if not, which ones are’nt correct? My local priest says that some of these claims are stretched to fit and I should shred it. No imprimatur, no nihil obstat, not safe for accurate Catholic teachings. Please Help. I have in my hand two different cheat sheets: The bible thumper: authority, and The Bible thumper Sacraments. Both are authored by Jim Burnham founder of San Juan Catholic seminars, a lay organization devouted to charitably explaining and defending the catholic faith. He is a staff speaker for Catholic Answers. Both sheets have the Nihil obstat, and the Imprimatur.

I use that sheet often and find no errors on it. The last poster listed the imprimatur and nihil obstat. Some of the Scriptures stated on this sheet may not hold to protestant understandings but that does not invalidate them. Use the references that work for you and the person you’re discussing things with and that should suffice. I don’t find any reason to shred it…God Bless
