I ask for prayers for my husband of 34 years. He may have delusional disorder and has been dating online in search of the ideal woman. I have had to remove myself from my home and am in need of housing, work, and furthering my education. Thankfully our children are grown but they are in pain nonetheless. I am confident that the resolution to the situation will be amazing but until then temporal needs are plentiful. Thank you for caring.

Hummingbird, I was in your spot 3 years ago. I will certainly pray for you but please protect yourself and your property. Without my knowing it, my estranged husband sold everything we had including things I had from before we met. I know it sounds petty but when you have to go out and purchase things like refrigerators again you start to build up resentments. It’s harder to rebuild bridges when things like that happen. I hope yours is a more stable marriage.
 
This is probably a long hidden problem that has just come to the forefront or reared its ugly head. It sounds like a problem that needs some intervention and counseling. It may be something that can be worked out. Men go through “a change of life,” also. I would tell you to speak to your priest, but you already know that. Just don’t give up quite yet after 34 years of marriage. I am praying for you.
