is it cheating if a men hugs a girl flirt says nothing about being married when he is married?

Dear friend,and sorry for my bad english. The answer depends on two things,is it a “hug” or a “HUG” and is there moore in what he/she tells. A lie is a lie,and that is a sin because it is a word against the truth,so yes,some of it is a sin. And it’s getting worster cause he/she lies beeing married/not married.
 
Depends on a several circumstnaces, but it’s probably just in poor taste, not cheating.
  1. What kind of hug? I hug my female friends and even peck them on the cheek when I’m greeting them or saying goodbye.
  2. Did the man intend to hide the fact he was married, or did it just not come up?
  3. Did he lead the girl on, did he flirt back with her?
  4. Was he looking to flirt and fool around? Did he go out and look to flirt with single women?
There are probably more.

Is the OP the male in the situation? Perhaps the OP is the wife, or even the flirting girl.

I agree with RascalKing. No matter who the OP might be in the situation, given the very limited details of the scenerio, its at the very least a concern for all involved.

The “you” is universal, not restricted to the OP or any particular individual. It’s a philosophical statement that if we feel we have sinned we probably have, barring scrupulosity of course.

I belive, that if a man flirts with another women and
he is married,it,s because there,s problems in his know marriage. The best thing too do,
is stop flirting with this person,and try too save your marriage Jesus ,is all forgiving.,go too confession and ask God,s foregiveness,and try not too get involed with other women. Jesus wll help you if you ask him,that,s what he came for, to save us sinners who are weak. God Bless,and good luck. johnthebaptist:)
 
As a married man, I can say that flirting is always a dangerous thing. To hide the fact one is married means that one is leading another woman along who may believe that she might consider you a potential marriage partner when you are actually off limits.

In that case, the man who flirts and hugs in such a manner is actually telling the other woman, “I wouldn’t mind having some on the side with you.”

That is not gentlemanly, that is unfair and cruel to the other woman and it is certainly sinful from a Christian/Catholic/Mormon perspective.

I would think thats an ocasion of sin. He doesn’t mention hes married and he hugs another female. He may not of meant or thought anything of it, but that woman might of.
