My child was caught cheating in school - first offense in 8 years. I read the school’s handbook and it says that the penalty is suspension. While I understand that my child has to learn from the experience, I ask for your prayers that a verbal warning be given instead of suspension.

Academically, my child belongs to the average class. I was even told that even though my child cannot bring me home a medal, my child will make extra effort to be included in awards regarding character. In fact, my child was one of the most honest students this school year. My child even stays in school just to help other small children. It’s my child’s way of making up for lack of academic accomplishments. I’m worried that the cheating incident may lower my child’s self esteem.

I’ll be meeting the school officials next week. I’m asking for your prayers for a miracle to happen.

Thank you.

May our Lord Jesus Christ place His healing hand on this situation, and insure a correct outcome.

Bless everyone involved and allow your holy angels to inspire them to Your holy will.

Blessed Mother Mary, Pray for us!

I will pray for you and your child.

I fully understand your concern. Years ago (more than 30) I entered my daughters room to wish her good night. She was lying in her bed crying. I asked her what was wrong. She told me that she had cheated on a test that day. I was actually elated that her conscience was working.

I did not scold her but told her to pray for forgiveness and she did. Your child is human just like my child and prone to mistakes. Turn this situation into a learning experience for you child. One more thing. Let your child know that it important to forgive himself/herself for the mistake. You can influence that by your approach to the situation.

The fact that you are going to meet with the administration is a positive. Attitude is everything!

Guess what? Through the years my daughter did not earn a Nobel Prize, graduate from college with honors, or become a world famous musician. What she has achieved is recognition as a Godly woman, faithful and compassionate wife, mother of four well adjusted children and a successful business woman. Not too shabby for Ms Average in school.

Peace be with you.

Praying for God’s will to be.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

:signofcross: Heavenly Father we pray for Ditolang and for her son in this situation; we realize that all of us are sinners - and that all of us have fallen short of the Glory of God; but we also know that you are the God of second (and third and fourth) chances. We ask you to work for mercy and grace in this situation, to help the authorities to have compassion and forgiveness on this young man.

Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came and said to Him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
