I love Latin mass videos - it’s the next best thing to being there. Thank you. 🙂

ps, could you tell me what “canons” means regarding an order?
 
Thank for that! Notice - no altar rails, no high altar (they should work on that, though 🙂 ) and yet they are celebrating the EF. ANY church can do it!!!

Wow. Roman tonsure and all! The priest there came to the local Latin Mass parish once and he sings Mass beautifully. Give props to the guy who recorded it all too. He’s from the local Una Voce chapter. If only I could find this in more places! God bless.

I remember the Latin Mass and Gregorian chant so clearly when I was a kid.

I think canon means a priest that live in a community and follow a certain rule, and also priests who are tied to a cathedral.

Canons Regular are members of certain bodies of Canons living in a community under the rule of St. Augustine.
 
With the exception of that their is no altar rails, the church architecture does not look dissimilar to my home parish in suburban New Orleans in the late 50s. The churches back then were built in such a way that they could become a gymnasium for the school once things were up and running and a more “proper” church could be built.
 
Great Vidio and the singing makes it even better.
I go to a Latin Mass in Las Vegas, Nv where they sing the Mass a couple of times a year. They say the Latin Mass every day and it is great.
The Latin Mass is a wonderful thing especially for this convert.

I noticed your from my area. Our parish has Norbertine priests celebrate our Masses at times. Two weeks ago one that was wearing an alb and the black top around his shoulders (don’t know the name) was at our church and I think Father said he would be helping out this Summer.

Our parish has a EF Mass every Sunday at 10:30 A.M. The churches name is San Secondo D’Asti in Ontario or Guasti
