Praying for your dad, Cheezey.
May he be free of pain. May he have peace in his heart when he is united with God. Amen. :gopray:

Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Lord is with thee.

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Thank you, prayer warriors.

I was able to see my dad, as he has been moved to a facility within 2 miles from me.He is terribly uncomfortable, heavily sedated, and of course confused, but he did recognize me and called me by name.

But he is withering away.

He thinks my mom is somewhere in the building and calls out for her.
She died in 2008. From the complications of dementia.

If there is a disease I’d like to kick the bleep out of, it is Alzheimer’s and all dementia.
It is an insidious disease. A nasty little thief that leaves a heartbreaking family to watch helplessly. For now.
I pray for a cure.
 
Father in Heaven, please grant Cheezey’s dad peace and comfort in his new surroundings. Give Cheezey strength, faith, peace, hope and love and the knowledge that it will be ok. Put Your loving arms around them both so that they feel You near. Amen.
