Prayer for Healing

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners.

I beg you, assist Steve in all his needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of his soul and the ills that afflict his body. I also ask of you the favor and the great grace of purity to prepare him to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I havent been on the board much and I am sorry for not keeping you all informed. I am 2 and a half months in and I have 3 more to go. My body has adjusted to the chemo and am feeling 95% better. Please keep me in your prayers for a total healing from the Lord. Thank you too po18guy for your prayers and I will keep you also in my prayers too… especially when I take my injection. God bless you all and if you don’t see me too much dont worry.

Father, Your only Son took upon Himself the sufferings and weakness of the whole human race; through His passion and cross He taught us how good can be brought out of suffering. Look upon Stove, who is ill. In the midst of his illness and pain may he be united with Christ, Who heals both the body and soul; may he know the consolation promised to those who suffer and be fully restored to health. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
 
Steve, I lifted you up in prayer before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament this evening. May Christ’s peace be with you.
