All the schools in our town are peanut free zones since we have a few kids with serious peanut allergies. Parents have come to realize that their kids can live without peanuts at school while their schoolmates may not live WITH peanuts at school. We are all conscious now of not providing anything with peanuts if we know a child will be around.WHAT DID THE POOR KIDS EAT FOR LUNCH THEN??
What did the poor kid do if classmates ate peanuts for breakfast and did not brush their teeth??
I can tell you I would of had an issue with this ruling as would my kids!
As a parent of a child with a serious dairy allergy, who wasn’t taken seriously even by her own doctor, I sympathize with any parents who finds themselves in this kind of situation.
