Child sponsorship with Chalice charity

Sorry I wasn’t sure where to put this…

I found out about the Catholic child sponsorship charity called Chalice, - it was ranked #1 in Canadian charities in 2011. It also seems to be very responsible with the money, and it’s Catholic and partners with priests, deacons, sisters, etc, which is awesome.

I was wondering if anyone knows about this charity or has sponsored children through their program, and what was your experience? I know there are many similar charities out there and I like what they do, but it’s important to be discerning as well. For example, I recently found out that one of them partners with an organization that provides abortions. 😦 I’m assuming that this is not a problem with Chalice?

(By the way the charity that partners with the abortion organization is World Vision, which is sad but I thought people might want to know, since that’s important).
 
Not heard of Charity you mention nor did I know that about World Vision.I have however been sponsoring a child in Uganda for about 5 years through PLAN charity.
