"Childproof" portable bag?

Does anyone know of any kind of medicine bag or “childproof” bag that I can put in my diaper bag, for example, to deter my little ones from having access to whatever items I have placed inside the smaller bag?

I don’t want a key lock, as I don’t want to be in a situation where the key can get lost and I cannot access the items inside, but I wanted to know if anyone knows of any product out there? I was trying to see if there is any little bag for people with diabetes that may need to bring items with them and they want to deter little ones from having access.

I have a “medicine bag” which is actually a canvas shower caddy. I use a little combination lock that I close it with. It doesn’t have to be a very clever combination because I am not worried about my older kids having access.

You can get tiny combination locks in any luggage department. Then you can use them on any bag that has a double zipper.

It depends on the size of the thing and the age of the children. Like if I had an asthma inhaler and a very little child, I could probably put it in a zipper make-up bag. But if it were just a few pills, I’d put them in a little plastic box and pop them into one of those change purses that have those criss-crossing metal clasps, or even a cigarette bag like that for a bigger object.here’s what I mean.

How large are the items? You could strip the label from a large vitamin bottle with a child-resistant cap and store smaller items in there. It wouldn’t be childproof, but it’s difficult for little hands to open some of those caps.

Thanks for your help! I think I may end up with a little combination lock on a make up type bag (although the empty vitamin bottles is a good idea too, it is a little too small for what I need).
