When one hears the choir of Angels singing what does this mean?

I have done extensive reading through the catholic encyclopaedia, I struggling to find the information I need to explain my experience and why I experienced it. I hope that someone can assist me or direct me in the right direction.

Perhaps it just means you did something that made them happy? 🙂

Try saying the Chaplet of St. Michael? Should make them very happy!

A good way of saying thanks, I would think, like the Golden Arrow prayer.
  • The history of this Chaplet goes back to a devout Servant of God, Antonia d’Astonac, who had a vision of St. Michael. He told Antonia to honor him by nine salutations to the nine Choirs of Angels. St. Michael promised that whoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching Holy Communion, an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs. In addition, for those who would recite the Chaplet daily, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life.

Thank you for the information. St Michael resonates with me as I pray to him often. 🙂

Do you mean what does it signify when it happens to you, or what does someone else mean when they talk about it?

I would take it as a blessing, consolation, and encouragement.
God bless

I remember reading something which went along the lines of: “When a sinner repents the angels in heaven rejoice.” No-idea where I read it though…

According to the writings of Fr Martin Von Cochem, there have been many visions of Angels and even the Saints themselves to be present during mass and Eucharistic Adoration.

Thank you all for your (name removed by moderator)ut. I will discuss your ideas with the priest in the near future.
