My Friend this thread is for your own good. You know why coz you do not exactly know Who Jesus Is. Some says that he is Son of God, Some says that he is God incarnate and others says he is Three in One. Its for your own sake plz brought as many Christians to this site so you will come to one point by vote. Thank you very much.

While I respect that very much , your poll is inadequate. If you are truly interested in the Christian point of view, your will accomplish much more with a poll that actually reflects our beliefs.

He can’t be all in one time.

Why not? The created world gives us plenty of examples where a thing can be both one and three. Water, ice and steam are radically different from each other, yet in reality they are the same thing. Your mind is composed of intellect, memory, and will, it is three and yet it is one. Such analogous examples are obviously imperfect, God being a great mystery, but they can assist us in seeing how something like the trinity is possible.

If he is than explain to me. I am and other fellow as you can see from poll curious about.

I can try to explain it according to my limited understanding, but keep in mind that I am neither an expert in the doctrine about the Holy Trinity nor a native English speaker. Anyhow here goes.

The Son is the eternally (as in timeless and unending) begotten Word (Logos). He is the Fathers perfect self-understanding, expressing who the Farther is and doing the Fathers will. As such he is different from the Farther (He is the Son), yet He is also one with the Farther (He is God). The Holy Spirit is the eternal (as in timeless and unending) and perfect love, as it is flowing between the Farther and the Son. Thus it is neither the Farther nor the Son, yet is also one with both the Farther and the Son.

Jesus is God the Father’s one and only eternal Word. He existed in the beginning with the Father and through Him all things were created. He is the Son of the Father according to His divinity and Son of David according to His humanity. He is fully human AND fully divine.

He had to be fully human because only a human could suffice as the perfect sacrifice to reconcile all of humanity to God because of humanity’s sin.

He had to be fully divine because no human could live a life of complete innocence. No human could ever live a perfect life in obedience to the Law. And no human could or would ever offer that perfect life to God on the altar of the cross; suffering the humiliation and suffering and embarassment that comes with being crucified. Only God could do this.

In doing so Jesus returned to the Father as our High Priest. And in turn Jesus pours out the Holy Spirit-that Spirit of Love that unites the Father and the Son and which is the third person of the Trinity-to all of those who are His Body-the Church.

Yes He can. In fact He said so.

Anything is possible with God.

Tom, my friend, all this poll does, is to reveal how little you know & understand about the Christian faith.
Since you have so little knowledge about Christ, why not spend some time over at Catholic Answers’ main site, where there are many fine articles which can explain to you, Who Jesus truly is.

PS: I voted for “God Incarnate”, because that is true. There are several other correct answers, as well as several confused choices, which could only come from someone who had rejected the one and only Saviour, without ever even investigating His claims. Hence, my suggested reading list (above).

If you knew who Jesus is, you would NOT be trying to persuade Christians to follow the false prophet Mohammed and his hateful religion of Islam.

Jesus Christ NEVER asked his followers to kill those who did not beleive in him. He said to love them.

Jesus Christ NEVER killed anyone. He forgave his own executioners.

Jesus Christ rose from the dead, having RAISED someone from the dead, and was seen by 100’s over a period of 40 days after his resurection. Mohammed is dead.

For a religion who professes a respect for the `people of the book’, its followers seem to spend an aweful lot of time attacking Israel and murdering Catholic Bishops, gays and lesbians, woman (honor killings!!!) and anyone found lacking in faith to Allah. So lets recap, shall we??!>…

Jesus is not really the “Holy Spirit”. Jesus is distinct from the Holy Spirit - but they are not separate in that they possess the same infinite divine nature - they know with the same intellect and love with the same will. (They can not possess different divine natures because then it wouldn’t be infinite - one would be limited by not being the other.)

I’m not sure if it is correct terminology to say Jesus is “Three in One”; I think it is correct to say The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are Three persons in One divine nature.

Jesus is “God Incarnate”.

Jesus is “Messiah/Christ”. (I’m not sure if “Prophet” is correct terminology for Jesus.)

Who receives a revelation from his Allah, but fails to make people record it

I already tried to explain the Holy Trinity in reply number 22. As for how I voted, well I did that before posting any reply to your question. My voted went to “God incarnate”, but I might as well have voted for some of the other options (Son being one possibility). However the thing is that none of the options are truly satisfying from a Christian perspective.
