Paarsurrey,

I say this with all due respect, but you have no clue about Christianity. It is obvious that you have never studied Christianity because of the questions you ask. Since you spend a good deal of time on this website, I suggest you familiarise yourself with the basics of Christianity.

Please read the Gospels - all of them in their entirety. Then read the Nicene Creed and the Apostolic Creed. After that, read an explanation of those creeds and study basic Christian doctrines.

When you have done all of this, you will know what Christians believe; and you will no longer have any misunderstandings. In order to understand what we write, you should at least know and understand the basics of the Christian faith.
Hi

Thanks for your good suggestions in all fairness and in all sincerity.

I have read OTBible and NTBible from cover to cover; both Catholic and Protestant versions. Quran I daily read.

The rest I would learn from the discussions in this forum from you all;that is why I am here. Together we learn most.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna for world peace.

Thanks

Although this forum is a great source for information, we are frequently incorrect. This is why nothing can beat the official documents of the Church. The best thing you can do is read the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It is free online in it’s entirety. Type it in Google and you will find it.

I recommend that you add George Orwell’s “1984” to your reading list. In this book, Orwell coins the term “doublethink”, which is the act of simultaneously accepting as correct two mutually contradicting beliefs.

The Gospels teach that Jesus is the Son of God (Mt. 16:16).
The Koran teaches that God would never take a son (19:35).
Are both teachings true?

The Gospels teach that God is a Trinity (1 John 5:7-8).
The Koran teaches not to even say the word “Trinity” (4:171).
Are both teachings true?

The Gospels teach that Jesus was crucified, died, and rose from the dead (Mt. 27:50, Mt. 27:35, and Mt. 28:6).
The Koran teaches that Jesus was never crucified (4:157).
Are both teachings true?

If you have answered “yes” to any of the above questions, you have engaged in doublethink.
I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna for world peace.
It is fine to love all of these people, but do you accept all of their teachings equally?

Christianity teaches that each human being experiences one life, one death, and one resurrection at the end of time.
Buddhism and Hinduism teach reincarnation.
Are both teachings true?

Christianity teaches that each human being possesses an immortal soul that is directly created by God.
Buddhism teaches that there is no permanent and unchanging soul.
Are both teachings true?

Christianity is monotheistic.
Hinduism is polytheistic.
Are both beliefs true?

If you have answered “yes” to any of these questions, you have again engaged in doublethink.

It is not possible to debate with someone who does not accept the logical principle of non-contradiction. If I say, “It is raining in Seattle” and someone else says, “It is not raining in Seattle”, you (Paarsurrey) will tell us, “You are both right: it is both raining and not raining in Seattle”.

Or perhaps you approach the world’s religions as one would approach a buffet, picking various teachings from each according to your taste.

Please explain your position, Paarsurrey.

Jesus was born very late of Mary; so when he never existed in the first place, in my opinion, he could not create Siddartha, Abraham and Moses; at least to my knowledge, they never acknowledged that they were created by Jesus, a man yet to be born.
Paarsurrey, you claim to have read the NT from cover to cover. Perhaps you missed this part:
“Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and was glad.” So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM” (John 8:56-58).
Jesus was born of Mary according to the flesh but he has always existed as God.
Since you spend a good deal of time on this website, I suggest you familiarise yourself with the basics of Christianity.
This is great advice. You say you have read our Scriptures but you clearly do not understand them. If you want to learn the basics of Christianity I suggest you read Frank Sheed’s “Theology for Beginners”.

Hi

Welcome here.

The ranking of Buddha and Jesus is to be decided by God Allah.

As for status: Buddha, Krishna,Abraham, Zoroaster, Socrates, Moses and Jesus etc is the same. They are truthful Messengers Prophets of God Allah Parmeshar YHWH; He selected them for His profound love and revealed unto them Word from Him.

They are all the fruits or flowers of the humanity; and we must respect and love them all. This is in short the teachings of Quran, and I will rejoice in explaining more.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks
Bhudda and Krishina were just weirdos with too much time on their hands. They should have left the preaching to the Jews and Christians.

Krishna is the name of God in the Hindu religion.

The Buddha lived and taught about 500 years before Christ. While the Jews never sent teachers to the Nepal region of India where the Buddha lived, the Indian King Ashoka sent Buddhist missionaries to the Middle East at around 250 BCE. Some historians have traced these traveling monks as far as Greece and Egypt. They also went north east into Afghanistan. There is some references in Medieval literature that Buddhist monks traveled as far as Ireland.

The concept of counting beads for prayer came from India. These prayer beads are called malas in India and Subha in the Middle East. These prayre beads probably were the historic source for the concept of the rosary. The reverence for relics and the practice of monasticism also come from India.

I don’t know what God will do to Buddha but i know that Buddhism and Christianity , seeing them as a whole, are totally opposing, the reliance only on oneself in Buddhism and the reliance only on God in Christianity being two opposing teachings.
Actually Buddhism teaches reliance on the Three Jewels or Triple Gems of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

That is all of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the Gurus, monks the entire community of ordained and of course the Sutras, commentaries and other teachings of these people. (Very short summery)

**** W * R * O * N * G * !!!***

Jesus is NOT the same at all! He created Siddartha, Abraham, Socrates, and Moses.

Krishna is a demon.

God bless the Crusaders!

Isa akbar!
Isa akbar!
ISA AKBAR!

I bear witness there is NO GOD but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God Incarnate risen from the dead!
If I may ask. Why the twisting of Islamic statements and testimony of faith? I am sure you’d find it offensive if I created a Neo-Pagan rosary with Neo-Pagan versions of the Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, Fatima Prayer and the rest of the Prayers one my do on the Rosary.

An to top it off replacing the Crucifix with an Awen and the medal with a depiction of say The Morrigan.

So do you do the same with another faiths statement?

This is true, I use to read in History books about the finding of prayer beads that look similar to the ones n India and relics with characters in Chinese and other Oriental Languages on them turning up in Ireland but no one knowing how they got there as it appears to date before Christ, of course that is impossible as Christian Missionaries didn’t make contact for some time after words…

Plus I believe they could never figure out why a Catholic Prayer rope had an image of Buddha on it… sigh Sometimes we are so Eurocentric it isn’t funny…
