Hi thereI have seen numerous posts on here by Muslims claiming that the Bible does not make it clear that Jesus is the Son of God, ie God himself. I will give you some quotes from the Bible that make it extremely clear that Jesus IS in fact clearly established as God in the Bible. Now I certainly won’t be able to post ALL the verses that say this, as there are too many and even if I look for a long time I am sure I will miss some. This is all from the Jerusalem Bible translation, if anyone was curious.
"When he reached the country of Gadarenes on the other side, two demoniacs came toward him out of the tombs–creatures so fierce that no one could pass that way. They stood there shouting, ‘What do you want with us, Son of God?’ " [Matt. 8:28-30]
Jesus speaking:
“Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” [Matt. 11:27]
Jesus walks on the water:
"In the fourth watch of the night, he went toward them, walking on the lake, and when the disciples saw him walking on the lake they were terrified. ‘It is a ghost,’ they said, and cried out in fear. But at once Jesus called to them, saying, ‘Courage! It is I! Do not be afraid.’ It was Peter who answered. ‘Lord,’ he said, if it is you, tell me to come to you across the water.’ ‘Come’, said Jesus. Then Peter got out of the boat and started walking toward Jesus across the water, but as soon as he felt the force of the wind, he took fright and began to sink. ‘Lord! Save me!’ he cried. Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. ‘Man of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’ And as they got into the boat the wind dropped. The men in the boat bowed down before him and said, ‘Truly, you are the Son of God.’ " [Matt. 14: 25-33]
"When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi he put this question to the disciples, ‘Who do people say the Son of Man is?’ And they said, ‘Some say he is John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.’ ‘But you,’ he said, ‘who do you say I am?’ Then Simon Peter spoke up, ‘You are the Christ,’ he said, ‘the Son of the living God.’ Jesus replied, ‘Simon son of Jonah, you are a happy man! Because it was not flesh and blood that revealed this to you but my Father in heaven. So now I say to you: You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the underworld can never hold out against it.’ " [Matt. 16:13-19]
"He [Peter] was still speaking when suddenly a bright cloud covered them with shadow, and from the cloud there came a voice which said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favor. Listen to him.’ " [Matt. 17:5]
After the Resurrection:
"Jesus came up and spoke to them [the Apostles]. He said, ‘Go, therefore, make disciples of all the nations; baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.’ " [Matt. 28:18-20]
Proof of the Trinity.

Why in the 4th Gospel it is Andrew who makes a confessional statement (1:41), following the initiative of John the Baptist (1:29-34), while in the Synoptic Gospels it is Peter who identities Jesus as the anointed (See Mark 8:29; Matt 16:16 & Luke 9:20)? However, Peter is also credited with confession in different terms, and in different context, later on in the Gospel of John (6:68-69). Both the 4th Gospel (1:41-42) and Matthew (16:16-19) link the confession with the change in name; the other gospels merely note the change in passing.
AlsoSo the question is, why, if the God took such pains to preserve an inerrant text for prosperity, did the spirit not provide for the preservation of original copies of the gospels to prevent such blunders?
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye also know:
Now this is just the tip of the iceberg? can you please address the above that why the above quotes impeach your claims?1John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh IS OF GOD.
