The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a great devotion;

Also, from the Vatican:
The question has arisen from different regions, especially from Poland and from those in authority, whether the prohibitions contained in the “Notification” of the Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office, published in the AAS (1959), p. 271, regarding devotion to Divine Mercy in the form proposed by Sr. Faustina Kowalska, are considered still in force.
Having examined many original documents unknown in 1959, considering the circumstances that have profoundly changed, and having taken into account the opinion of many Polish Ordinaries, this Sacred Congregation declares that the prohibitions contained in the cited “Notification” are no longer binding.
From the Seat of the Sacred Congregation, April 15, 1978.

I would rather not.

Also, St. Faustina is a canonized Saint (papal canonization; dogmatic fact; infallible). Her confessor, who helped spread the devotion, is a Blessed of the Church. My copy of the Diary has a Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur attached to it. The Divine Mercy Sunday is a feast day of the Church. Further, if one is familiar with the mystical experiences of Saints throughout the ages, many of the things she experienced, said, or was told should not come as much of a shock to you.

St. Faustina is a great Saint of the Church, and her Diary is a great boon to promoting the Divine Mercy of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

But if you’ll see the facebook group I posted elsewhere, they do a good job of showing how the “approved” version is still faulty and anti-catholic.
It is very common nonsense amongst rad trad. They proved nothing. Already heard that theory by some other rads.

Church doesn’t oblige anyone to believe in private revelations but this is just a bunch of false arguments with false conclusions.

And you do no good by posting it here.

Another thing that “does no good” is repeating the term “rad trad” all over the place.

That is of course a new term, coined by someone who felt threatened by traditional-minded Catholics responding to his less-than-orthodox teaching. It is derogatory and dishonest, as clinging to Sacred Tradition has never been seen as in any way “radical” by the Catholic Church.

It’s a good idea to think before repeating slurs that are created by people painting their opponents in a negative light; it’s doing their dirty work for them.

Peace.

No, rad trad isn’t name for any normal and balanced traditional Catholic. It is term used for radical traditionalism which has nothing to do with normal traditionalists.

I hope you read her/his comments.
Because comments were classic arguments by those who are at best borderline Sedevacantists. It doesn’t sound like traditional Catholics who are appreciated in Chuch.
Poster doesn’t have to agree with something optional, like private revelations, but shouldn’t spread anti-Catholic teachings or opinions.

I found those comments dangerous, not for me but for others who maybe aren’t formed well in their faith and who are easily influenced by distorted opinions of so called “true faithful”.
Also, this is Catholic forum and we should promote Catholic teaching in first place and spread opinions in accordance to that same Teaching.

Did you coin the term?

On one of her daily programs Mother Angelica said that she saw Jesus as a young boy playing . When he walked up to her He said " Build me a Temple "
I cannot remember if this occurred in Alabama or Mexico .

We do see Jesus in the flesh every morning at daily mass, here. In fact, I hear he is appearing and being held and eaten all over the world, every day, by millions of people in the church. 😉
