I realize this is rather out of season, but is anyone familiar with an alternate (Ruthenian) setting of Christ is Risen?

Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen, Christ is Risen from the Dead! By death, by death He conquered Death! By death by death He conquered death! And to those in the Tombs, and to those in the tombs, He granted, He granted, He granted Life!

It is located on p. 171 of the Ruthenian pew book (Revised), and is listed as melody “A”. Does anyone know the origin of this melody?

I’ve lost track of how many melodies–and in different languages-- I’ve learned to the Paschal Troparion during my experience as a cantor.

What trips me up is learning different English versions.

Ruthenian - Carpetho-Rusyn. Displaced peoples to southern Ukraine from Transcarpethia.

Generally south-western Ukraine, south-east Poland, and south to Carpethia.
