fix:
To be honest, it is the non homosexuals that need protection these days. The “gay” agenda is in full force and threatening to redefine our culture. I hardly ever see unjust discrimination of public supporters of homosexual conduct, yet I see plenty of folks turning a blind eye and calling those who point out the truth haters.
Hi fix!

This may be true, but it does not answer what the appropriate Chirstian response would be to, say, the gay couple who moves in next door. For some on this forum it seems that the directive to admonish the sinner in this case supercedes any other spiritual or corporal work of mercy.

Hi,

Prudence is required. Why do some think every Catholic is going to yell at each public homosexual? These fora are about news and cultural items. We comment on them. The intensity of the attack by the “gay” agenda folks is ferocious and requires a pointed response. That does not mean we will berate our neighbors. Evangelization varies from location to location, from event to event, from person to person.

Do you think most Catholics here would act disrespectfully toward anyone? Each situation must be evaluated. Again, I think the big problem today is not hasty admonishment, but false compassion.
