The Christian Community Bible is not a static publication and since its launch in English in 1988, it has seen 40 editions! Each one differing from the previous in some way or another. The publisher cannot provide me with a list of the changes per edition - apparently no records were kept!
I am seeking answers to two questions.

- To compile a list of each edition by year (in some years there will have been two or more). The information I have is as follows; 1st Edition: 1988 ; 2nd Edition: 1989 ; 11th Edition: 1994 ; 37th Edition: 2005 - can those who read this thread supply the gaps between 3rd edition and 40th Edition, in terms of listing the year for each edition, or for the one they possess.
- At some stage between the 2nd edition and the 11th Edition the text became politically correct. For example in Psalm 1, Verse one, “Blessed is the man” became “Blessed is the one”. Again if those reading this thread have an edition earlier than the 11th with the change to “one” from “man” of your charity please let me know.
I do know that the 41st edition is due out this year, and some 100 minor changes will be made in the text of the four Gospels, from the 40th edition.
