I guess I’m *slightly *more Baptist (#17) and less Mormon (#13). :cool:

On the second quiz, my “brand” of Baptist (fundamental) was dead last. 👍

I would say it’s 95-99% like the Catholic Mass (no 100%, because there’s no consubtantiation or transubstantiation or however you spell that word in the Lutheran church. So, it’s obviously not 100%.).

I’ve been in one Catholic church that did more singing than my Lutheran church! (the cantor does a lot more singing, too) One Catholic Church Mass I went too (these were all family-related events), they of course stopped with “…but deliver us from evil”, but the first one I mentioned had the part where the Priest said a line, then everyone said “For thine is the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.”, or something similar. The first one also had another priest going around sprinkling Holy Water with palm leaves (I suppose since it was the last week of the Easter season, and it was also First Holy Communion). The funny part about the first church when my little cousin was having First Holy Communion, was that the songs they were singing were ones we were taught in Lutheran Sunday School.

There’s maybe one or two things both don’t do. Lutherans include a small hymn right after the Kyrie, “This is the feast of victory for our God…”, and sing “Praise Him all creatures here below, praise Him above ye Heavenly host…” after the offering - right before Communion. Sometimes we do the “Peace be with you” greetings before that, too.

That hymn is not part of the order of the Mass, but it’s in our hymnals, and we sing it frequently, especially during the Easter season.

It’s funny because when I took the quiz Orthodox was first, followed by LCMS Lutheran, ELCA Lutheran, and Catholic was fourth. I would think that Catholic is closer to Orthodox than Lutheran is. :confused: I am actually Catholic, not Orthodox.
