I have always wondered what a “Christian psychic” was. I have seen ads on the internet claiming that they are people who talk to the angels. Isn’t it a sin to go to any kind of psychic?

I know it’s tempting, but I’d stay away. These people usually want a great sum of money for their time. And there’s no gaurantee that you’d get the right answer/whatever you’re looking for. Trust in God, and follow Him only. I’d give a bunch of other advice, but I think I need it more than you do.

The Holy Father is the best authority. There is no reason to believe that anyone speaks or communicates with angels. And do not pay money to anyone who claims they have psychic powers.

Peace,
Ed

Besides, if they get their information for free, why should they have to charge you for it?🤷

Thanks for all of the replies. I guess the best answer is trust in God alone!

Or maybe a better way of putting it…only trust in psychics who trust in God alone and have nothing to do with tarot cards and fortune telling.

I don’t have it in front of me to give you a paragraph reference, but the Catechism brings up the phenomenon of psychic powers. It is all right when it just happens to people, but it should not be sought.
