"Christian" Rock. Am I off-base?

My wife likes that Contemporary Christian Music. I can’t stand it. Anyhow, she likes dragging me to concerts and other events with this music.

So beside the fact that it’s not my type of music, I have some theological problems with it. I think the these musicians have one of two motives:

1. Exploiting Christianity for profit.
2. To lure people away from liturgical churches, especially the Catholic Church.

Am I being too unfair or judgmental?

You are wright and also wrong…

There is a lot of good Christian contemporary music… The question is who is writing the lyrics.

Personally, I like most of the music by Michael W. Smith… And if you lesson you will find he is pointing you to the Catholic Church, whether that is his intent or not???
