You don’t become non-Christian. You would became a bad Christian, or a Christian who is confused and/or deceived/ You can become a Christian who is not in a state of grace.
But once you are validly baptized, you are a Christian. (I’m not sure what happens if someone joins a non-Christian religion. I think that they have become heretics, but are still considered Christian…).
