Sister, A Christian is one who believes the Gospel. The Good News - that by grace you are saved, it is a gift from God.

A Roman Catholic is one who believes the official teachings and traditions of Roman Catholicism.

There for saying that one is a, “Roman Catholic Christian” is truly an oxymoron.

You will never have more peace than when you place all of your faith in Jesus Christ alone! He is the ONLY ONE that can save you.
There is NO WAY you were raised Catholic. If you were, shame on your parish, your priests, and your parents for failing to teach you properly. No Catholic with the most basic understanding of the faith would say that!

Let me suggest you leave Hagee’s church and get some real sound Biblical teaching before you throw the baby out with the bathwater.

WOW! I never read that before! Where in the Bible did you find such a succinct, doctrinal statement on what constitutes orthodox Christianity. Where is the source??

And to think I found it here!

JCPeackeeper, let me know, please?

To be a Christian IS to be a Catholic. Christ came to establish His Church and promised His eternal protection to her. To follow any other religion is to say to God, “My will and not Yours be done”.

That is right. That is one of the reasons why I like the Gospel of Matthew so much! Jesus came not only for our Redemption but part of that Redemption was to establish His Kingdom! … that is His Church, the Catholic Church!
