A Jewish teacher claimed that Christianity copied most of it’s doctrine from Pagan religions in the surrounding middle eastern peoples at the time, such as the Sumerians and the Egyptians. An answer is needed from a traditional Catholic point of view to counter said claim. Thanks.

What about Judaism? Isn’t he going to make the same claim about it?

Which one of the books in the new testament was written by pagans again? They were all Jewish, why would they all conspire to go against their Jewish routes?

St. Luke was a Greek born in Antioch. He was not Jewish. I wouldn’t call him “pagan” though. Gentile Christian is the better term.
