God is to say. He has told us. We believe Him.

Only by not believing that God can “directly reveal” information to mankind (via individuals) can you argue that it’s not possible that God has simply TOLD some people what He wanted to tell them!

Who’s to say that YOUR concept of God is not of human creation? 🙂 Is your concept of God given to you by God directly (via your “prophets”) or is it simply deduced from the logic inherent in natural law?

If your tradition is “directly from God” then we each have the same justification to claim what we do about the nature of God.

If that’s true, and our conceptions of God differ fundamentally, then God has given out contradictory information to different parts of mankind, which simply is not something God would do.

Therefore, one or the other of our traditions has ben given “direct revelation” from someone other than God.

Is it yours or mine?
Its obviously yours. Only the demons would make someone want to be Catholic

.
The tradition (Catholic) is directly from God, and is to be believed in this matter as truth.

The Catholic tradition is from God via direct revelation. The Vedic tradition is from God via human elaboration of natural law.

Is that explicit enough for you? 🙂
Yes, you’re obviously deluded.

do you believe that the Bible of the Jews is inspired by that One God? and do you take it to be True?
Its obvious that the Bible is a creation of man (or the devil) to ensnare people into thinking that they are something that they are not.
I will pray for your soul.

Actually I don’t think that your tradition is, of necessity, inspired by demons. What is prone to be “demon influenced” are the interpretations of the skillful elaborations of natural law which your tradition is so fond of “elaborating”.

I’m not quite sure who you can condemn we Catholics for being arrogant while saying that only demons would make (make?) someone want to be Catholic?

Who’s being “judgemental” now? Not that I’m against being judgemental, but you can’t claim you’re not judgemental while being so blatantly judgemental, can you?

Yes, you’re obviously deluded.
So, your truth is not deluded while mine is?

Isn’t your argument that we can each hold to our own basic beliefs and still be “right” to do so?

Suddenly you change your mind? Why is that?

Hah ha ha ha!

So Neil descends to acting exactly like what he says he hates!

So much for his “eastern” worship of “getting along”, and his reversion to his “western” worship of “truth”, even if his truth is not true.

Isn’t it interesting how syncretist appeasers snap into their own precise opposite when they don’t get the “appeasement” they think they are owed?

That assumes that both qualifications aren’t correct, which is incorrect in this case.

To say they differ while not qualifying that difference as also being wrong is to be uncharitable in not giving one who needs to know that information the info they need to know!

Your supreme ignorance blinds you to the truth. Its so sad…I pray that you can find God before you die.

But I guess your evil karma will take you directly to hell with all the other mis-guided Catholics.

Its a shame!

I’m not sure here…Did you just damn all Catholics to Hell? Are you being ironic or are you the Hindu Jack Chick?

Lets take a step back people, why all the hostility. Neil-you said:
As I have said again and again… There is ONE GOD and God reveals Himself in various forms in various places and times.

You call my conception of God “a demon” (which is incredibly insulting) but you don’ t show me why your concept of God is not “demoniac” itself…
Then you go on to say:
Its obviously yours. Only the demons would make someone want to be Catholic

Now, you’re either trying to be funny (failing), or you’re actively trying to insult Catholics after complaining they did the same to you.

that is what i thought.
there is your answer.
we dont worship the same God. you dont believe what we believe.
what is the point in discussing something that obviously you have no clue what we talking about.
you dont believe the God revealed to the Jews, we do. we believe in Jesus Christ, His Son.
we believe that humanity need a savior. you dont.

i pray that God have mercy upon your soul.

Okey dokey then! 🙂

You’re sounding more like what people incorrectly think Catholics sound like when speaking to non-Catholics in your condemnations and “judgementalism”!

What exactly are you being so “emotional” about? I have yet to “condemn” you or your religion in any way. I have merely pointed out how and why, and where, the interpretation of your religion is prone to being dangerously incorrect imperiling the souls of those who follow those incorrect interpretations.

Instead of clarifying our differences by bringing them to light, where we can agree to disagree, you DEMAND that I agree with you and find some way to “placate” your “feelings” such that you don’t become “offended” by being told the truth as I see it.

Best to you in being able to control your emotions so that useful human interaction can take place, and best to you also in not falling into the high probability of misinterpreting the hyper-extended elaboration of natural law which IS your religion, and falling into serious worship of things other than God.

Your condemnation is not my job, but God’s. Since you’ve already qualified my “karma” as evil, you’ve already condemned me to whatever “hell” is to “karma believers”, such as yourself, though you do give me an “out” if I eventually come around to agreeing with you.

So it’s, “come around to agreeing with me or GO TO HELL!”, coming from you? How very “Catholic”!

…such hypocracy.

Nope…its just that believing in a religion that is so obviously false is definitely negative karma…
The Catholic Church is obviously not of God…if it was it wouldn’t be so negative

that is what i thought.

I never SAID I was Catholic…so obviously I don’t believe what you believe…
HELLO?!?!?!? Anyone home?

Neil, why have you suddenly become so insulting towards Catholicism. I enjoyed our discussions before but you are becoming increasingly hostile. Come on mate theres really no need for it is there?

What you see as the Church being “negative” is the Church being decisive, which means “cutting”.

Those who value making nicey-nice over truth find making value decisions very distasteful.

They will usually work very hard to placate the feelings of those who might be annoyed by necessary decisions, and this process is the heart and soul of syncretism, which is “spiritual appeasement”, which is worshipping “(false) peace” over truth.

When their appeasement is not matched by others who think differently, and value truth over their so-called “peace”, they react as one spurned.

You’ve been very consistent.
