How do Christians feel living there with gay marriage, brothels, cannabis shops, explicit sex education taught to 5-year olds etc

Is it difficult to tell people you are a Christian there since the culture is nothing but sex and drugs?

The culture there is much more than just sex and drugs Sean! There are good people everywhere; people are just people everywhere.

I would think that the more depraved a society becomes, the less a practicing Catholic would need to actually voice that they were Christian and the more obvious it should become by their very actions and attitude. Just as many people who use vulgar language tend to ‘clean it up’ or apologize frequently when it slips when they know you are religious, or at least in my experience they do.

This is the first time I’ve heard of the Netherlands characterized in such a way. Is that a fair assessment that their culture is nothing but sex and drugs? Or is it more of unfair caricature?

Very unfair from my experience. Nordic cultures do tend to have liberal attitudes towards sex, but they are by and large, very civilised societies. I think the OP might be extrapolating from Amsterdam’s infamous red light district.

It sounds like you are describing California. There are plenty of practicing Catholics here; we just don’t run the state or make the rules.

I’ve felt that America is heading down, maybe there in some regions, a similar path of extreme liberal attitudes that will direct people away from Christ and His teachings. Our present leadership in Washington is bent on turning us into a liberal euro socialist society with a “anything goes” approach. They must be blind as to the failings of Russia, China, and other communistic and socialistic societies. Our president was raised by an affirmed communist so what do we expect from him? We need God in our society more than socialism.
