Please pray for the surviving Christians living persucated in Iraq. These people are truly martys, dying trying to live their faith.

I can’t even believe in this day and age, that this type of persecution still exists:( …praying with you.
 
Praying especially for Christians under persecution in Iraq and anywhere persecution for the Faith is endured…praying too for all peoples in war torn countries - places of violent strife…Jesus, you are The Prince of Peace - we trust You…

I will pray for them and all Christians being persecuted for their Faith in Christ.:crossrc:
 
Prayers and Intercessions

Dearest brethren, let us pray to Christ our redeemer. He is coming to free from death those who turn to him. Let us humbly implore him:
  • Come, Lord Jesus.
    Lord, as we announce your coming
    wash our hearts clean of attachment to vain things.
    Lord and founder of the Church,
    may she proclaim your greatness to all peoples.
    Lord, your law brings light to the eyes:
    may it protect the people who trust in you.
    By your gift, the Church preaches that you are near:
    let our ardent prayers give us a sight of you.
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

We ask you, Lord, that our prayers should rise into your presence
and that our vows of service to you should, with purity unimpaired,
bring us to the mystery of the incarnation of your only-begotten Son.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.

May the Lord bless us and keep us from all harm; and may he lead us to eternal life.
