In Matthew 5:27-28, Jesus clearly speaks against porn.

King James Version
27Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

I don’t know where you saw that some Christians were saying porn is okay, but I wouldn’t be surprised given there are christians who think abortion, gay marriage and pre-martial sex are okay.

The most simple answer: some people are poorly educated about their faith or they’re just telling themselves God doesn’t mind if they watch nudey movies so they can continue watching said movies.

Well did Saint Paul prophesy in 2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings,”

I would say they have been misguided.Since porn is a big temptation and its so prolific its easy to fall.Society tells us all the reasons(although false)porn should be accepted. One has to be very careful when listening to opinions our society makes as to whats right or wrong. Its become so liberal in regards to moral issues that nearly anything can be explained as permissible.

The Bible also talks about the grave consequences of leading someone else into sin. Encouraging someone else to do wrong is a grave moral evil.

You know, I have actually heard some Christians say that it is perfectly fine for married couples to use pornography to “enhance” their marital relations. Some even say it is fine as a solo aid to masturbation. Well, they are dead wrong about this. The use of and production of pornography is gravely sinful and so is masturbation.

By the way, here is an excellent article explaining why pornography use is gravely sinful:

Amen, Holly! What about the poor souls who are shown in the porn? Does the fact that they are on a path to hell bother anyone any more?

Sometimes I really question the point of posts like this. Clearly there is a difference between “A religion endorsing something” and “people who call themselves a member of something, but doing something else?”

Are you attempting to discredit a specific denomination? Protestants in general?

“You see what happens when you don’t have an authority?” type of statement?

Are you looking to cast the first stone?

I know many people who call themselves Christians, Catholics, (and other religions) that think porn is ok. Obviously, they are making a personal choice and justifying it.

We know that the Bible, churches, most catholic, most protestants, etc… would consider this immoral.

I don’t understand your thread. I think we’re all aware that the Bible speaks against sexual imorality. Please give your source concerning Christians who think it is alright. Where did you hear this?

Many Protestants believe so, along with some Catholics.
