Psalm 105:14, 39 (Original Douay-Rheims, Psalm 106 in KJV) seems reasonably negative towards random sex, putting it on the same level as idolatry and child-sacrifice, but what do I know?
The Challoner Psalm 105:14 oddly weakens the meaning (changing the word in the ODR “concupiscence” to “desire”. The KJV is much closer to ODR using the word “lusted”). Challoner DR is even worse for 105:39 changing ODR “fornication” to “went aside”, again KJV is much closer to ODR using “a whoring”.
105:14 is more directly on point but you’ll note the following from 105:37-39 makes it clear that fornication is bad thing, generally.
I quote with spelling corrections and word meanings in brackets if necessary (ODR)
105:37-39 “And they immolated their sons and daughters to devils. And they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, which they sacrificed to the sculptils [idols] of Chanaan. And the land was infected with blood, and was contaminated in their works, and they did fornicate in their inventions.”
Now is this referring to Ancient Israel or Modern America? You decide.
