Christians witnessing Catholics???

I wonder why this organization refers to Catholicism as Romanism.

I think some ignorant Non-Catholic Christians are rather needs to get their terminalogy straight.

The Catholic Church isn’t Romanism. It’s Catholicism. The Western Rite is Latin and is Roman. They failed to see that the Catholic Church have the Eastern Rite Churches…
 
Romanism as a descriptor for any Catholic group is about as accurate and polite as “popery” i.e. that stuff you put in bowls to make your bathroom smell nice. 🙂

I used to get very offended by the term ‘Romish’ which was beaten only by ‘romish’.

I have long since learned to ‘chill out’. We accept being the ‘Romish’ and ‘the Caths’ and the Protestants have become ‘the Prods’ and ‘Prodders’.
 
Addendum: the Jehovah Witnesses: ‘the Prod Plodders’ or ‘the Prodder Plodders’!
