Ok this is fun thing before Christmas Favorite Christmas Movies. Now I will post a poll but if you have anyothers you like to add just post them and see where it leads us.

Polar Express is pure movie magic. I think I like it best of your list. Although Miracle on 34th and Wonderful Life are among the greatest.

Others you missed that deserve to be on the list:
Christmas Vacation
Scrooged
Santa Clause
 
I put A Charlie Brown Christmas, but I also equally like It’s a Wonderful Life and one that’s not on there but already mentioned - White Christmas (as well as Holiday Inn!!).

I actually do not like The Polar Express, but I think it had to do with the fact that SO many people (including my husband) raved on and on about how good it was, so my expectation level was way too high. This happens to me a lot, so I usually don’t ask too many people how they feel about a movie before I see it, unless it’s about immoral content.

A Christmas Story is my 2nd favorite, but nothing will ever surpass It’s A Wonderful Life. My friend and I are obsessed with that movie, every year around this time we start emailing quotes of the movie to each other.
 
I love Christmas Story also… but I haven’t seen it in several years. Is it OK for kids… I remember the leg lamp thing… that’s no biggie… can’t recall if there’s anything else in it that’s no appropriate. It’s rated PG but that was before they had the PG13 rating.

I TRY to like It’s a Wonderful Life… but whenever I watch it, it seems sooooooooooo long.
 
At my alma mater, it’s a tradition to drink champagne and watch “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

However, I have to admit that my favorite Christmas movie is the most under-rated film of all time, “29th Street.” Unfortunately, there is some profanity, which is a huge minus for a Christmas film, but it’s a great film for adults.

Quote from the film: “I’m Catholic! I can do whatever the hell I want!”

I give it two thumbs up!

I also love* Christmas Vacation.* ** Best** Chevy Chase movie and Vacation movie - ever. I still laugh every time I watch it.

The mention of “Ralphie” saying the mother of all dirty words, but its actually not SAID in the movie. I think its okay for kids. I got my brother in law an ornament last year of the “old man” holding the leg lamp. And this year for his birthday I got an ornament of the infamous tongue to lamppost scene.

My niece and nephew LOVE the movie - they are 7 and 5.

My brother got the leg lamp last year for Xmas from my dad’s gf.
 
I thought about putting a Christmas story but I was trying to limit it to 6 cause their is so many. However, A Christmas Story is a great movie I always find it halrious. 🙂 Also Holiday Inn is a good christmas movie even a hallmark movie called “The Gift” is a great movie!
 
All-time Favorite that makes me smile, cry and laugh
is-
It’s a Wonderful Life:) -I still get teary when Sue-sue says everytime a bell rings an angel gets his wings, so cute. No “Christmas kid” has been cuter since.

Favorite Cartoon—hands down
A Charlie Brown Christmas:) -only one that shows the true meaning
