  1. It’s a Wonderful Life
  2. & 3. (Can’t decide) Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story
I agree…however, we do start the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year) with Christmas Vacation after Thanksgiving dinner. 😛

Every year our family watches the following three movies:

The Santa Clause
A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott version…the best of course)

and the first movie to become part of our tradition…

The Sound of Music! 😛

We have watched The Sound of Music every year at Christmas since I was two:D . I’m not ashamed to say that this is also my favorite of the three.👍

Well, 2 out of 3 of our family’s favorite Christmas movies. Replace The Santa Clause with It’s a Wonderful Life and you have my must see during the Christmas season. my husband introduced me to the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol. I agree with you, the best one out there. And I absolutely looooooove The Sound of Music!

It’s a tie between Polar Express and Miracle on 34th Street. Charlie Brown Christmas is good too. I also like A Christmas Story.

All-time Favorite that makes me smile, cry and laugh
is-
It’s a Wonderful Life:) -I still get teary when Sue-sue says everytime a bell rings an angel gets his wings, so cute. No “Christmas kid” has been cuter since.
With all due respect, it’s “ZuZu.” :o

I love “It’s a Wonderful Life”. But then, I live in the town where Jimmy Stewart was born! 🙂

I think you can all guess by the signature where my vote went … but I’ve got a soft spot for Charlie Brown too, and have actually never seen ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.

If you have a television and get an NBC station, ‘Its a Wonderful Life’ will be on tonight. 🙂

Gasp! What?!!! Never seen this wonderful classic? Come on over tonight and I’ll show it to you! You’ll love it.🙂

Funnily enough, not being in or from the US (as is clearly advertised on my every post if you care to look), I’m unable to take either of you up on your kind offers 😛

Gotta vote with the write-ins: 👍

It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, and *A Christmas Carol *(Mister Magoo version).

Movies with secondary Christmas themes: Auntie Mame, Desk Set, and We’re No Angels.

“By George, Magoo, you’ve done it again!”
